Who We Are

Skinny Dog Properties grew out of a simple belief: the American Dream shouldn’t be reserved for the lucky few.

I started as a 16-year-old kid mounting tires at Swanson’s, eventually buying the shop and running it for years. Those days taught me that hard work, honesty, and treating people right still matter — and that owning real estate is one of the most powerful ways ordinary people can change their future.

Today, Skinny Dog focuses on two things:
• Restoring properties – taking neglected or tired houses and giving them new life, with solid workmanship and thoughtful design.
• Respecting people – treating sellers, tenants, and neighbors like human beings, not line items on a spreadsheet. We look for win-win deals, clear communication, and solutions that leave everyone better off.

Whether we’re renovating a rental, buying a house that needs love, or helping a family transition out of a property that no longer fits, our aim is the same:
